(REEDSPORT, OR) - With the popularity of water sports in Oregon, Loon Lake Watersports & Marina, LLC, is now offering boat, Jet Ski, and WaveRunner rentals at Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort near Reedsport.

Scenic high mountains that block the wind surround the lake, so the smooth waters make the lake popular for active water sports in Oregon, especially Oregon water skiing. The natural setting of the lake is among soaring Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, and Red Cedar trees. Both ski boats and water skis are available for rent.

In addition there is plenty of open water for fishing, kayaking, Jet Ski riding, or just relaxing on a leisurely pontoon boat ride. Each type of watercraft is available for rent by the hour or day.

The two-mile long calm and wide creek that canoes traverse with ease, feeds the lake, allowing for an extra adventure across the lake to explore the creek waters. Canoe rentals are available.

The lake is a haven for fishers as the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks the lake every spring with over 7,500 trout and bass thrive in the lake as well.
